Guest Creation: Bhagwat's Manliest Salad
For years, men have been faced with a vexing paradox: We're biologically driven to eat healthily, and thereby prolong our lives, but we dread the emasculation that proceeds when we are caught "watching our weight." If only there were a solution to this dilemma. If only there were a dish that, while still healthful, is actually enjoyable and, more importantly, not embarrassing to consume in public. I believe that I've found such a solution.
The Masculine Salad
Items Needed:
• 1 or 2 whole chicken breasts
• Spinach
• Iceberg or shredded lettuce
• Sliced cucumbers
• Cherry tomatoes
• Jalapenos (optional)
• Feta cheese
• Barbecue sauce
• Honey mustard dressing
• 1/2 baked sweet potato
Preparation:
The first step is to prepare the bed of the salad, which will consist primarily of spinach. Place spinach, at your discretion, onto a plate to form the salad base. Mix in the lettuce, ideally shredded, although iceberg will do, and add in cucumbers and tomatoes until you're satisfied. Next, use a knife to slice the chicken into small, edible chunks, and set it aside in a bowl. Then, mix together the barbecue sauce and honey mustard dressing, with a ratio at your choosing, before adding this sauce to the sliced chicken. This step must be performed with caution, as too much sauce will neutralize the healthful nature of the salad, which was the original impetus for making one. Mix the sauce thoroughly with the chicken, and then add it to the salad bed. Finally, remove the skin from the baked potato and place it onto the salad.Next, sprinkle some feta cheese onto the salad. Finally, add a few jalapenos to the salad to really spice it up.

‘No ballot, no vote’
Brad Joiner has requested three mail-in ballots from his home state of Georgia — one for the 2022 midterm elections, another for a runoff that same year and one for the 2024 presidential election.
Post election, students react with unease, hope
On the evening of Election Day, hundreds of students gathered in the Sid Richardson College commons, sitting chair-to-chair. They cheered when Rep. Colin Allred amassed votes, and again when Massachusetts went blue.
